Delete your account

Read this first: one account covers more than this app

Your sign-in is a single GroupWork account shared across every GroupWork LLC application you use. Deleting it deletes that account everywhere — not only in Your Talent Pipeline. The app states the same thing on the confirmation screen before you confirm.

If you want to stop using Your Talent Pipeline but keep your account for another application, ask an administrator at your organization to remove your access instead. That does not delete your account.

1. Delete it from the app

This is the fastest route and it needs no help from us.

• Sign in to Your Talent Pipeline.
• Open Settings, then Account.
• Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
• Read the confirmation and confirm.

You have 30 days to change your mind. Deletion is scheduled rather than immediate: sign back in within 30 days and you can restore the account. After 30 days the erasure is permanent and we cannot undo it.

If you are the only administrator of an organization, the app will ask you to hand that organization over to someone else first. An organization left with no administrator cannot be managed by anyone, so that step is required before deletion can proceed.

2. If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@groupwork.cloud from the email address on the account, and say that you are asking to delete your Your Talent Pipeline account.

We will verify that you control the address before we act on the request, and we will confirm in writing once it is done. We do not action a deletion request that arrives from an address we cannot tie to the account — acting on an unverified request would let one person delete another person's account.

3. If you do not have an account, but your employer holds a record about you

Your Talent Pipeline holds employee records that were entered by an employer, and many of the people described in it never sign in themselves. Those records belong to the employer, who decides what is held and for how long. We hold them on that employer's instructions.

So a request about a record of that kind goes to your employer, not to us. If you are unsure who to ask, write to privacy@groupwork.cloud and we will point you to the right organization without disclosing anything about the record itself.

What is deleted

• Your account and the credentials you sign in with.
• Your profile — your name, your photograph and your display preferences.
• The records Your Talent Pipeline holds against your account: your settings, your notifications, and the personal data attached to them.

What is kept, and why

Deleting your account does not erase every trace of it, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise. The Privacy Policy is the full statement; the three exceptions that matter most here are:

What is kept	Why
The employer's record of the person	An employer's roster is the organization's record that someone worked for them, and it is not yours to delete by deleting your login. It is unlinked from your account. A request to erase it goes to the employer, as in section 3 above.
The activity record	Who changed what, and when. It is retained for the life of the customer organization, and entries survive the deletion of the person they refer to — an accountability record that vanishes with its subject is not one.
Backups	A nightly backup is kept for 30 days, and one snapshot per calendar month is retained indefinitely for disaster recovery. A record deleted from the live database therefore persists in a snapshot taken before the deletion. Backups are never used to serve the application or to restore a single record. If you need a deletion propagated into backups, ask us and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
