Your Talent Pipeline is business software for multi-unit operators — companies that run dozens or thousands of locations and have to know, continuously, who is ready to step up at each one. It is a workforce-management application, sold to businesses and used at work.
Why it exists
Succession planning in a multi-unit business usually lives in a spreadsheet. Somebody builds it before the annual planning meeting, everybody looks at it once, and by March it describes a company that no longer exists — three of the people on it have been promoted, two have left, and a region has been re-cut.
The failure is not the spreadsheet. It is that the format asks for a big effort once a year instead of a small one continuously. So the product is built around the two-minute update after a store visit: change one person's readiness, add a note, mark that someone would move to Boise. Do that consistently and the roll-ups take care of themselves, because they are computed rather than compiled.
Who it is for
- Multi-unit restaurant, retail and service operators — the product was designed against restaurant operations first, where a region of general managers feeding a district of markets is the normal shape.
- Operations leadership — directors and above who need coverage across a territory rather than a view of one building.
- Human-resources business partners who support those operators and need the same picture without a separate export.
- Organizations with several brands under one parent, each with its own ladder and vocabulary, that still need to roll up to one number.
What it is, in plain terms
It is a web application, used in a browser and on a phone. It stores a small, deliberately limited record for each tracked person — name, location, level, how ready they are for the next role, notes about what would get them there — and it computes coverage from those records. It is a category of software usually filed under human resources, succession planning, or workforce management.
It sits beside the systems that run payroll and hold personnel files, and answers a narrower question than any of them: who is ready for the next role, and where is the bench thin.

Your Talent Pipeline is built and operated by GroupWork LLC, a Michigan limited liability company based in Okemos, Michigan, United States. The two products share one account system, so a single sign-in works across both, while the data in each stays separate.
